The HKliving scented candle from the 70s collection is a new take on the iconic ceramic candle series – this time in a vibrant sunset palette: from honey gold through intense orange and red to a deep black base.
The fragrance opens with energetic citrus – lively, sparkling, like the first sip of a drink at a beach club in Tulum. At the heart of the composition is refreshing spearmint – cool and fresh, like a mojito sipped in the shade of a palm tree under the Mexican sun. The base is a soft, warm vanilla – soothing and sensual, like evening music resonating on the beach late into the night.
The vessel is made of ceramic covered with reactive glaze in shades of gold, orange, and black – each piece is unique, with organic color transitions creating the effect of a sunset over the Caribbean Sea. After burning, the ceramic bowl gets a second life – as a candle holder, a container for small items, or a decoration.
About the HKliving brand: A Dutch brand founded in 2009 by Emiel Hetsen and Sander Klaver. Their philosophy is to boldly combine retro vibes with modern design, natural materials with intense colors, and good humor with timeless aesthetics. The 70s collection is one of their most recognizable projects – ceramics hand-covered with reactive glaze, where no two pieces look exactly alike.
